“Megan Laws passed internationally? Shouldn't we clean the USA Megan laws first by removing the non-threatening sex offenders(those not a child molester or rapist) before ruining more non threatenting sex offenders internationally?”

“Well I guess we could look at what other countries have done with Megan Laws. I know that we’ve done a lot of debate and we’ve done a lot of work on making Megan Laws applicable to here in the United States for a number of situations. So I’m not – or I don’t believe we’re in a situation where we need to do a lot more right now, but I’m always open to looking at this question further and I look forward to having a debate on this if we have legislation that is intended to do this. I would welcome such a debate and see what comes from it.”
