Harry Reid worked as the City Attorney in Henderson, Nevada. He was elected to the Nevada State Assembly when he was 28 and served one term before becoming Nevada's youngest lieutenant governor at 30. He was appointed chairman of the Nevada Gaming Commission in 1977 before working at a private law practice. Reid served in the U.S. House of Representatives for two terms and was elected to the U.S. Senate in 1986. He is currently serving his fourth term. Official Biography
