
After receiving his J.D. from the University of Alabama, Jeff Sessions served in the U.S. Army Reserve for 13 years. Sessions then worked as an attorney and an assistant U.S. attorney for the Southern District of Alabama for two years before being promoted to the position of U.S. attorney for Alabama's Southern District.
