John Barrasso was appointed to the U.S. Senate in 2007 when former Senator Craig Thomas died. He was reelected in 2008. Before joining the Senate he worked as an orthopedic surgeon and was named Wyoming Physician of the Year. Q: Why do we not have an immediate program to become 100% energy self-sufficient-10yrs or sooner. Start expanding drilling, refining, greater use of natural gas (for all trucks) and the immediate construction of nuclear plants to supply electricity. We also can reduce consumption by education and incentives. Won't this provide real jobs?
