U.S. Rep. Bobby Rush (D - IL)
Bobby Rush enlisted in the United States Army after high school and served for five years. In 1968 he co-founded the Illinois Black Panther Party and operated the Panther Party's Free Breakfast for Children program. Rush also served as an Alderman in the Chicago City Council.
