U.S. Rep. Bobby Rush (D - IL)
Bobby Rush enlisted in the United States Army after high school and served for five years. In 1968 he co-founded the Illinois Black Panther Party and operated the Panther Party's Free Breakfast for Children program. Rush also served as an Alderman in the Chicago City Council. He was first elected to Congress in 1992 and is serving his 9th term. Official Bio
